The UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 is in Southampton!

England is hosting the UEFA Women’s EURO finals this month (July 2022). England’s Lionesses and 15 other nations are taking part.
Fans are enjoying some of the world’s best players in action as 31 matches are played at 10 venues across the country during the three and a half weeks of the tournament.

Hundreds of thousands of fans are attending and millions more watching the globally televised event. Southampton is hosting three group stage games as part of the tournament.

We have created a  guide for those arriving and making their way to St Mary’s via the richly packed city via the fan zone and family areas.

We wanted to showcase Southampton, make new visitors feel welcome and celebrate women’s football of course. The matches are supported by legacy, culture, heritage and school programmes, which all aim to promote inclusivity and participation.
