Christmas finally came back to the city of Southampton in 2021. With shops and restaurants, clubs and bars, theatres and cinemas open and the lights on, nobody was at home – they were out and enjoying the sights and sounds of a city celebrating being back together and open.
Our creative campaign extended right across the city, urging people to linger longer such as coming to shop, and staying for a show. Four sets of these creative messages appeared on billboards and digital screens, train and transport stations, social media, and online.
We also ran a Lights Switch On creative, and set up two prize-winning walking Christmas trails across the city’s ‘North’ and ‘South’ poles, with trail notes and clues displayed in shop windows and prizes for all correctly completed.
