Mayflower Theatre’s Summer Youth Project initiative gives up to 250 young people aged 11 – 18 years the opportunity to work with a professional theatre creative team to create, produce and perform a show; from the first read-through to final performances. Intensive rehearsal periods give participants a great opportunity to learn more about the performing arts whilst working toward a common goal and making new friends.

Auditions are fun and friendly, designed to welcome all young people interested in theatre. No experience necessary! Hundreds of enthusiastic young individuals eagerly audition for the chance to have the “best summer of their life”.
